Nikola Jokic knee status brings sigh of relief to the Denver Nuggets

Nikola Jokic will not be missing significant time with a knee injury, which occurred throughout Denver’s Tuesday’s matchup vs. the Utah Jazz. He’s expected to be questionable for Friday’s game vs. Dallas.

The reigning MVP was diagnosed with a correct knee contusion, following a knee-to-knee collision with Rudy Gobert. According to the Nuggets’ beat writer Mike Singer, “there’s practically nothing structurally wrong” with Jokic’s knee.

The 2020-21 MVP limped off to the locker space minutes later ahead of he was sooner or later ruled out. Mike Malone ultimately decided to sit the superstar big for the second half of the game.

Coming off the ideal season of his career, Jokic started off by averaging 26.8 points, 13.five rebounds and 4.5 assists through the 1st four games of the typical season.
